Growing up in Champaign, IL area led me with many great experiences. My wife and I along with our three kids reside in Champaign, IL.
Growing up as a kid I loved to draw and paint. The love grew more and more as I entered drawings into competitions. I placed first in several of those art competitions. Those experiences led me into the great field of Graphic Design.
I decided to attend Pensacola Christian College (PCC), where I would graduate with both a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and a Masters degree in Commercial Art. While at PCC I received on the job training at A Beka Book, while studying for my Masters Degree. This gave me the foundation and tools necessary to have the success I have today.
Upon graduating, I then went on to work for Sports Publishing as a Graphic Designer. While there I later became the Art Director where I designed over 250 book covers. I also learned many people skills, that I still draw upon when working with my clients. I also had the opportunity to make some great acquaintances. I was able to work on covers for Michael Phelps, USA Today, and Dick Vitale along with many others.
Upon leaving Sports Publishing I went on to work for the Dean of Students at the University of Illinois. Here is where I learned to hone my web design skills. I design and maintain about more than 5 different websites. I also design all of their printed material.
I enjoy doing freelance and contract work on the side. I have worked with individuals as well as small companies. If you have something you need designed whethere it be printed or an online presence, please contact me. I believe my experience can be what can take you to the next level.
Sincerely,
Dustin Hubbart
